Privacy Policy

Who We Are
Meridian Advisory LLC ("Meridian," "we," "us") is a principal-led specialist advisory practice in institutional learning systems, AI governance, and digital learning strategy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information through this website (meridianadvisory.ai).
Information We Collect
Consultation inquiries
When you submit a consultation request, we collect your name, email address, organization, role, challenge area, and any message you choose to include. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry, to assess whether there is a potential fit for advisory work, and to maintain an internal record of our professional communications.
Resource access
When you request access to a Meridian resource, we collect your name and email address to send you a secure, one-time download link. We record the resource you requested, the date and time of access, and a verification token. We do not share this information with third parties.
Security data
To protect this site from automated abuse, we record a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address (SHA-256, salted with a site-specific key). This hash cannot be reversed to identify you. We also record basic browser information (user-agent string) for the same purpose.
Cookies
We use meridian_cookie_consent, a necessary first-party cookie, to remember whether you selected necessary-only cookies or permitted a language preference cookie. If you permit preference cookies, we use meridian_lang to remember your selected language on future visits. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.
Automated-submission protection
When enabled, this site uses Cloudflare Turnstile to protect public forms from automated submissions. Cloudflare processes limited browser and security signals for that anti-abuse purpose. When Turnstile is not enabled or configured, we use a first-party arithmetic security question instead. See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum for more information.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your consultation inquiry within the timeframe stated on the contact page
- To send you the resource you requested and to follow up if appropriate
- To maintain internal records of professional communications
- To protect the site from automated submissions and security threats
- To honor the privacy commitments stated in the contact form and on this page
We record the version of this Privacy Policy that was in effect when you submitted your information (consent version) so that future policy changes can be applied cleanly to new submissions only.
AI Maturity Profile responses are used to generate your automated readiness snapshot, deliver the report you request, maintain a record of consent and delivery, improve the reliability of the assessment, and support any advisory follow-up you request. We do not use submitted responses to train public AI models, sell personal information, or disclose identifiable responses to third parties except where required by law.
How Long We Keep Your Information
Consultation records and resource access records are retained for as long as they are professionally relevant. We periodically review our records and delete or anonymize information that is no longer needed. Do-not-contact requests are actioned immediately and are permanent.
AI Maturity Profile submissions are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for report delivery, consent evidence, security, quality review, and requested advisory follow-up. Personal identifiers may be soft-deleted or anonymized according to the configured retention period, while non-identifying aggregate or operational records may be retained for service improvement, audit, and legal compliance.
Your Rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Canada, or another jurisdiction with applicable privacy law, you have the right to access, correct, restrict, port, or request the deletion of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact form on this site. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Data Security
IP addresses are stored only as irreversible hashes and are never exported in plain form. All data is transmitted over TLS-encrypted connections. We do not sell, rent, or disclose your personal information to third parties except where required by law.
Third-Party Services
This site contains links to LinkedIn and ResearchGate. Following those links subjects you to those platforms' own privacy policies, over which we have no control. We do not embed their tracking scripts on this site.
Transactional email (resource access verification and inquiry confirmation) is delivered through a third-party email provider. That provider processes your email address solely to deliver the message and does not use it for any other purpose.
When Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled, Cloudflare processes anti-abuse signals submitted through protected forms for security verification as described above.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our data practices change. The version number and effective date at the top of this page reflect the current version. Submissions made before a policy update remain governed by the version in effect at the time of submission.
