What we cover

Many professional development programs produce strong attendance and good feedback without changing classroom practice. This institute helps teams find why transfer breaks down and how to redesign for it. Participants examine learning design, cohort models, communities of practice, follow-through, and evaluation methods that look beyond satisfaction surveys. The work draws on Meridian experience with educator development programs that have reached more than 3,000 educators across university systems and national programs.

What participants leave with

  • Transfer-failure diagnostic for an existing program
  • Redesign principles for professional learning that reaches practice
  • Measurement plan focused on classroom outcomes
  • Scaling model for multi-campus or national programs
